Enders Road Sidewalk Project

The Town of Manlius is considering forming a sidewalk district to build and maintain sidewalks on Enders Road. The details of the project can be found below including a map, plan and report of the proposed district. This sidewalk district is being proposed after neighbors submitted a Neighborhood Sidewalk Program application and petition.

May 22, 2024

Monica Browning & Elaine Denton presented to the Town Board proposing to create an Enders Road sidewalk district to build sidewalks on Enders Road. They turned in over 60% of signatures in the proposed district.

October 17, 2024

The Town of Manlius held an informational neighborhood meeting at Eagle Hill to hear a presentation from the engineers on the draft map, plan and report.

The Town of Manlius will hold a public hearing about forming the Enders Road Sidewalk District.

Financing options are shown from page 5 of the report below. Both options assume that the Town is awarded the TAP grant. Please note that most grant applications, including the TAP grant, require a Preliminary Engineers Report, completion of SEQR, and a district formation prior to award.

If the Enders Road Sidewalk District is formed, the Town of Manlius will start applying for grants to fund the majority of this project.
