Limestone Plaza Bridge Rehabilitation Project
ONONDAGA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO BEGIN
LIMESTONE PLAZA BRIDGE REHABILITATION PROJECT
The Onondaga County Department of Transportation will conduct a bridge rehabilitation work on Limestone Plaza over Limestone Creek in the Village of Fayetteville. The project is located on Limestone Plaza between West Genesse St (NY-5) and Brooklea Dr.
Contract forces will be setting up a work zone beginning March 23, 2026. Motorists are asked to follow the marked detour during the closure.
As with any highway project, the Onondaga County Department of Transportation encourages motorists to plan ahead for potential delays and to consider alternate routes, if possible. We respectfully ask the traveling public to please reduce speeds in work zones, use caution, and be mindful of construction workers and equipment.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of the 2026 construction season.
