The Town of Manlius Police Department's continued goal is to ensure the safety of all motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Traffic Enforcement is a tool utilized by police to reduce personal injury and property damage. In 2007 the Town of Manlius began it's traffic program, and since that time has reduced crashes in the town and obtained new tools and equipment to help keep everyone traveling through and residing in the Town safer.
Enforcement Campaigns
Selective enforcement campaigns target high volume areas using statistical data from crash investigation reports. Location, time of day, and causes are all factors the traffic coordinator looks at when a new enforcement campaign is being put together. Traffic Enforcement efforts include:
