Proposed Purchase Agreement with Twin Shores Property LLC for the Parcels Located at 5424 and 5430 Burdick St N, Town of Manlius County of Onondaga
Supervisor Deer advised the residents that based on the resident feedback and understanding that there are other properties available the Town would not be signing the purchase agreement with Twin Shores Property LLC for the parcels located at 5424 and 5430 Burdick St N, Town of Manlius. Supervisor Deer suggested that anyone not already signed up for notifications on Town News and Agendas to do so.

Open Podium:
Tom Bassett of Manlius spoke regarding the three (3) proposals the Town received from Engineers regarding the assessment of the current Town Hall.
Public Hearing - Planned Unit Development (PUD - 5912 N. Burdick St, East Syracuse, NY (Tax Map #077.-04-01.1)
The Town Board held a Public Hearing for the proposed Planned Unit Development (PUD) at 5912 N. Burdick St, East Syracuse. Before the public hearing was open Supervisor Deer stated that based on the feedback from the community the Board has decided not to move forward with the PUD. Supervisor Deer also stated that with the majority of the feedback being concerned with traffic that the Town will be reaching out to the County and State DOTs requesting a traffic study. Supervisor Deer also explained that the location is currently zoned as Commercial B as well as gave examples of businesses that could potentially be placed on this parcel.
The Public had an opportunity to speak regarding concerns in the area including the traffic concerns and potential projects at the location.
Town Hall Building Assessment Proposals
The Board made a motion to accept the proposal that was submitted by VIP Architecture
Disability Inclusion - Proclamation
Councilor Italiano read a proclamation declaring July 26th to be national Americans with Disabilities Act Awareness Day in the Town of Manlius.
OCWA- Proposed Hydrant #14526 - Apple Tree Ridge
The Board approved the request from the Onondaga County Warer Authority for the installation of a fire hydrant on Apple Tree Ridge.
SPO Agreements - Fayetteville-Manlius School District
The Board approved the SPO Agreements with Fayetteville-Manlius School District for Officer Pierce, Officer Winter, Officer Damon and Officer Hack for the 2024-2025 School Year.
