Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 4/27/22
Open Podium
Barbara Henry spoke about the screening for the proposed landfill solar array on Bowman Rd. Supervisor Deer stated the leasing company Abundant Solar will be at the June workshop to talk about the landfill project.
Paul Hrynio, Commander of the Town of Manlius Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7872 wanted to introduce himself and being awareness of what his post is doing and would like to do in the community for the veterans.
Town Assessor, Patrick Duffy - Presentation
Town Assessor Duffy gave a presentation how Assessment works.
Zone Change Request – 8291 E Seneca St., Manlius
Daniele & Ryan Ewert requested a Change of Zone from R1 to RA and the Board referred them to the Planning Board for a recommendation.
Police Chief, Mike Crowell
The Town Board declared items from the Police Department as surplus which would allow the items to be sold. Chief Crowell reviewed the proposed hiring incentive program for the Town Board, and they will address this at the next meeting.
Clark Hill Drainage Rehabilitation Project
The Town Board authorized 1500 feet of work to be done on the Clark Hill Drainage District #1.
Cold Springs Beef Farm
The Town Board authorized the Supervisor to sign a letter of support to help Mr. Gridley move the land trust portion of the Farmland Protection Implementation Grant along.
