Onondaga County Legislator Mark Olson –
Legislator Olson presented his 2024 Annual Report.
2024 Report
Open Podium –
Thomas Bassett of Manlius spoke regarding the VIP Report for the assessment of the Town Hall building. Mr. Bassett inquired if there was any other land the Board was looking into for a potential new building.
Building Assessment Report-
Supervisor Deer went through the VIP Report for the assessment of the Town Hall Building. The Board gave residents the opportunity to speak regarding the assessment and to ask questions. Supervisor Deer explained the timeline and the next steps.
Perry Springs Report-
Councilor Nicholson gave a brief update on Perry Springs Park Area Conceptual Stormwater Study that was completed by LaBella.
Town of Manlius Watershed Stewards – Report to Community
Councilor Nicholson gave a summary of what the Watershed Stewards accomplished over the past year.
Highway Department – Project Manager RFP
The board approved the proposal submitted by CHA Consulting for the Town Highway Project Manager in the amount of $206,154.
Town Planner Agreement
The Board authorized the Supervisor to sign the agreement with Miller Engineers for the Town Planning Board Engineering Services.
Public Hearing – Kinsella Quarry Permit Renewal
The Board set a date of January 22, 2025 at 6:35 PM for a public hearing regarding the renewal application for Natural Resource Removal permit for T.H. Kinsella Inc.
Public Hearting – Enders Rd Sidewalk District
The Board set a date of February 12, 2025, at 6:35 PM for a public hearing regarding the Enders Rd Sidewalk District.
Intermunicipal Agreement – Shared Services with Village of Fayetteville
The Board authorized the Supervisor to sign the intermunicipal agreement with the village of Fayetteville for the shared services of Certified Building Safety Inspector effective January 1, 2025.
Full-Time Code Enforcement Officer
The board appointed John Martino as a full-time Code Enforcement Officer effective January 8, 2025 with an annual salary of $58,000.00.
Planning Board Appointment-
The Board appointed Don Western to the Planning Board for a 7-year term ending December 31, 2031.
Zoning Board of Appeals-
The Board appointed Tim Kelly to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a 5-year term ending December 31, 2029.
Board of Assessment Review Committee –
The Board appoint Fred Lutzen to the Board of Assessment Review Committee for a 5-year term ending October 31, 2029.
