 Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 01/22/2025

Open Podium
 
Town Clerk Grevelding shared a letter submitted by Steve Hoefer regarding a printing error on the property tax bills. Town Manager Oot stated that she has been in contact with the county to determine why and how the error occurred. 

Public Hearing – T.H. Kinsella – Natural Resource Removal Permit Renewal
The Board held a public hearing for the consideration of the Natural Resource Permit Renewal for T.H. Kinsella. Residents had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition to the renewal. The Board held the public hearing open for the next board meeting on February 12, 2025.

Muirfield Drainage
The Board accepted the proposal submitted by LaBella for the Professional Services for Muirfield Drainage Improvements.

Town Highway Department – Spectrum – Enders Rd
The Board approved the highway permit submitted by Spectrum/Charter Communications to install 510-feet of underground cable conduit coax, from utility pole 18 on Enders Rd to their existing pedestal at 8281-8283 Decoy Run.

Town Highway Department – Letter of Intent
The Board approved a letter of intent signed by the Superintendent of Highways for the purchase of a new and unused 2026 International HV507 SFA 4X2 Chasis in the amount of $119,861.00 per proposal number 22818-01 and 1 new and unused plow package including plow, wings, hydraulic package, Everest MR 11-foot Steel Dump and Hi-way 11-foot E2020xt Sander in the amount of $164,979.00 per county contract 0010914 from Navistar Inc.

 Town Highway Department – Request for Bids
The Board authorized the publication of the bid notice for the construction of the Highway Department Garage Additions and Renovations. The Town Clerk will be accepting sealed bids until February 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Information on the Bids can be found on the Town’s website under Public Notices.

Bid Awarded – Skyridge Water District Improvements – Tanks
The Board awarded the Skyridge Water District 2025 Infrastructure Improvements Project Contract #1 – Water Storage Tanks to Statewide Aquastore, INC in the amount of $655,000.00.

2024 Town Clerk’s Report
The Board accepted the 2024 Town Clerk’s Report as presented.

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Agreement
The Board authorized the Supervisor to sign the agreement with NYSERDA for the purchase of EV Vehicles.
