SKYRIDGE WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT
2025 INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
 CONTRACT NO. 2 – BOOSTER PUMP STATION

TOWN OF MANLIUS
ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK

Sealed bids for the Skyridge Water Supply District 2025 Infrastructure Improvements Project, Contract No. 2 – Booster Pump Station (the Project) will be received by the Town Clerk at the Town Offices located at 301 Brooklea Drive, Fayetteville, NY 13066 until 11:00 A.M., Local Time, Friday, March 7, 2025, and then at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. 

Contract No. 2 – Booster Pump Station of the Skyridge Water Supply District 2025 Infrastructure Improvements Project will feature the procurement only of a manufactured water booster pump station. The water booster pump station shall include, but is not limited to, water booster pumps, strainers, check valves, ball valves, pressure gauges, an injection tap, a sampling tap, chlorine injection pumps, a chlorine analyzer, a flow meter, and a hydro-pneumatic tank.  The desired configuration for the manufactured booster pump station is shown on Drawing Number M-1 of the Contract Drawings. Installation of the water booster pump station will be performed under a separate contract. This contract is the second of several contracts that make up the larger Skyridge Water Supply District Infrastructure Improvements Project, which includes but is not limited to new water storage tanks, a new booster pump station, rehabilitation of the existing booster pump station, and replacement of the existing distribution piping. The Contractor will be required to coordinate the work of this contract with the contractor(s) of all future contracts of the overall project as needed. 

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Avalon Document Services, 901 North State Street, Syracuse, New York 13208. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online and may also obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the online planroom: www.avalonsyr-planroom.com

The Bidding Documents may be obtained only from Avalon Document Services, 901 North State Street, Syracuse, New York 13208, phone number 315-471-333, upon payment of a non-refundable fee made payable to Avalon Document Services. Payment via credit card and charging to an Avalon Account will also be allowed for this bid. Bidding Documents may be picked up at Avalon Document Services, anytime Monday through Friday, when you place an order a pick-up time will be given to you (sets are not preprinted, an order must first be placed) or be delivered via UPS or FedEx upon request to Avalon Document Services. Plans may be shipped to the bidder upon receipt of an additional non-refundable freight charge of $100.00 payable to Avalon Document Services by separate check or credit card payment. Bidder has the option to provide Avalon Document Services with Bidders UPS or FedEx shipping account number to expedite the delivery of the documents. 

Each plan holder of record will be notified by an e-mail regarding each addenda issued for the project. Emails will be from Avalon Document Services “ReproConnect.” It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate e-mail address when requesting Bidding Documents. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the Public Planroom on the www.avalonsyr-planroom.com website to ensure that all addenda have been received and to download each addendum. Large addenda and addenda containing full sized drawings will be sent in hard copy format via U.S. Mail or a nationally recognized overnight carrier. 

Any questions regarding this Project shall be directed to the Engineer in writing. Responses shall be issued in the form of an addendum to this bid.

The Owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and countries on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. 

Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. 

The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
