Public Hearing - Proposed Local Law - Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)
The Board held a Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law Allowing Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) in the Town of Manlius. Residents asked questions, spoke in favor and in opposition of the proposed local law. The Board closed the public hearing and made a motion to approve the Local Law Allowing Accessory Dwelling Units in the Town of Manlius.

Enders Road Speed Limit – Discussion
The Board passed a resolution requesting a traffic study to be conducted by the Town of Manius Police Department and for the Town Clerk to file TE-9 form with the NY State Department of Transportation.
Public Hearing – Proposed Zone Change for Seven Pines – 8104 Cazenovia Rd
The Town Board set a date for a Public Hearing for the Proposed Zone Change for Seven Pines located at 8104 Cazenovia Rd to be held on September 11, 2024, at 6:35 PM.
Encore Media Agency – Communication Assessment
The Town Board set a date for a work session to discuss Encore Media Agency’s Communication Assessment on September 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Board of Assessment
The Town is accepting resumes for anyone that is interested in filling a position on the Board of Assessment Review effective October 2024. Resumes can be submitted to the Town Clerk no later than 4:30 PM on September 11, 2024.
Appointment of Administrative Assistant
The Board appointed Duffy Hartnett to the position of Administrative Assistant with an annual salary of $50,000.00 effective September 3, 2024.
Highway Department – Auction Bids
The Board approved the bid in the amount of $4,550.00 submitted by Auctions International for the 2013 Ford Pick-up that was declared surplus.
Town Hall Reserves
The Board approved the newly created HC0, Town Hall Reserve Accounts.
