 Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 12/04/2024

Open Podium –

Matthew Denton of Manlius spoke regarding the Building Assessment, thanking the board for providing the reports and urging the Board to reallocate money for updates.

Bill Lane of Kirkville spoke regarding the tax increase and fire budgets. Inquired about shared services for the highway department with the County.

Laurie Leonard of Kirkville spoke regarding the tax increase and inquired about the Town using the Post Standard more for publications. 

Paulette Lane of Kirkville spoke regarding the increase in assessment and taxes.

Craig Dudczak of Fayetteville spoke regarding the multiple taxing agencies.

Jim Racquet of East Syracuse inquired about tax exempt properties within the Town.

Herman Whalen Jr. of Kirkville inquired about the Solar farms and if they were receiving tax breaks. 

Onondaga County Plow Contract

The Board authorized the Supervisor to sign the plow contract with Onondaga County.

2025 Organizational Meeting 

The Board set a date for the 2025 Organizational Meeting for January 2, 2025, at 6:30 PM.

First Board Meeting 2025

The Board set a date for the first Board Meeting for 2025 for January 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
