LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids for Plumbing and Fire Protection for the
Highway Department Garage Additions & Renovations
for the Town of Manlius will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Manlius at the Town Hall, 301 Brooklea Drive, Fayetteville, New York, until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids shall be on the bid forms included in the Project Manual (which include a non-collusive bidding certificate).
Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder.
Bid documents (Project Manual & Drawings) for the Project are available to and may be examined by any interested bidder at the following:
- Town of Manlius Town Clerk’s Office, 301 Brooklea Drive, Fayetteville, New York 13066
- Syracuse Builders Exchange, 6563 Ridings Road, Syracuse, New York 13206
Printed sets and electronic downloads of .pdf files of Bid Documents can be obtained from Avalon Document Services, 901 N. State Street, Syracuse, New York 13208 (315) 471-3333, through the following website: https://www.avalonsyr-planroom.com/projects/public The bidders’ costs for bid documents shall be as follows:
- Printed documents: Bidders shall pay a non-refundable fee to Avalon (Avalon’s full cost of printing, as determined by Avalon).
- Shipping of documents: Bidders shall pay an additional non-refundable fee to Avalon (the full cost of shipping, as determined by Avalon).
- Electronic downloads of .pdf files: Bidders shall pay a non-refundable fee of $49 to Avalon.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Town of Manlius Highway Department Garage, 5970 Clemons Road, East Syracuse, New York 13057, at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 3, 2025. Attendance at this meeting is highly recommended.
The contracts for Plumbing and Fire Protection for the Highway Department Garage Additions & Renovations will be awarded by the Town Board of the Town of Manlius to the lowest responsible bidder. In cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town Board may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Town may reject all bids and re-advertise for new bids at its discretion.
