Public Hearing - Amendment to PUD - Highbridge Senior Apartments
The Board held a public hearing to discuss the proposed Amendment to the current PUD for Highbridge Senior Apartments. The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the Board questions about the project. The Board referred the proposed amendment to the Onondaga County Planning Board for their recommendations. The Public Hearing was held open for a future Town Board Meeting.
Public Hearing - Kinsella Quarry Natural Resource Removal Permit
The Board held a public hearing to discuss the Natural Resource Removal Permit Application for Kinsella Quarry. The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the Board questions about the project. The application was declared a Type 1 Action under SEQR, and the Town Board was declared the lead agency. The Board referred the application to the Onondaga County Planning Board for their recommendations. The Public Hearing was held open for a future Town Board Meeting.
Public Hearing - Proposed Amendment to Chapter 89 of Town Code - Peddling and Soliciting
The Board held a public hearing to discuss the Proposed Amendment to Chapter 89 of Town Code. The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the Board questions about the project. The Board adopted Local Law 2025-3 Amending Chapter 89 of Town Code Entitled Peddling and Soliciting
Declare Town Vehicle Surplus & Vehicle Lease Agreement with Village of Minoa
The Board declared a 2014 Ford Explorer as surplus. The Board approved the Intermunicipal Agreement Relative to the Sale/Purchase of the 2014 Ford Explorer with the Village of Minoa.
Town Highway Department - Bid Approval for Surplus Vehicles
The Board approved and accepted the bids that were submitted by Auctions International for three Town Highway Department vehicles that were declared surplus.
Set Date - Local Law Amendment - Chapter 155 Section 20.2 of the Town Code Entitled Planned Units Development
The Board set a date for a public hearing regarding the proposed amendment to Chapter 155 Section 20.2 of the Town Code Entitled Planned Unit Developments for June 11, 2025 at 6:35 PM.
Paid Parental Leave Policy
The Board approved the Paid Parental Leave Policy as presented effective January 1, 2025.
RFP - Burdick Genesee Corridor Strategic Planning
The Board authorized the publication of the request for proposals for a planning consultant for the Burdick Genesee Corridor Strategic Plan.
Quarry Commission - Member Appointment
The Board appointed John Cayanne as a member of the Quarry Commission.
Other Business
Councilor Italiano announced that the Village of Manlius will be implementing the Hometown Heroes Banner Program.
Councilor Bollinger announced that the Limestone Creek Erosion study has been completed and that the Board will be applying for funding.
