Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 10/08/2025
Open Podium
Craig Dudczak of Fayetteville discussed the most recent blast from Kinsella Quarry. Mr. Dudczak advised that the notification from Kinsella did go out to its list but believes the Town should continue to work on a broader notification.
Matt Denton of Manlius discussed the budget and urged the Board to review the budget line by line.
Proclamation - National Ageism Awareness Day October 9, 2025
Councilor Gonzalez-McCurdy read a proclamation from the Board declaring October 9, 2025, National Ageism Awareness Day.
Update - Town Highway Garage Additions and Renovations Project
Gregg Grates with CHA gave an update on the progress for the Town Highway Garage Additions and Renovations Project.

Public Hearing - Fayetteville Fire Contract 2026
The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the board and village representatives questions regarding the 2026 Fayetteville Fire Contract. The board did pass a motion to authorize the supervisor to sign the 2026 Fayetteville Fire Protection District contract for the calendar year of 2026 in the amount of $2,480,026.
Public Hearing - Minoa Fire Contract 2026
The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the board and village representatives questions regarding the 2026 Minoa Fire Contract. The board did pass a motion to authorize the supervisor to sign the 2026 Fayetteville Fire Protection District contract for the calendar year of 2026 in the amount of $1,427,988.
Public Hearing - Manlius Fire Contract 2026
The public had the opportunity to speak in favor or opposition as well as ask the board and village representatives questions regarding the 2026 Manlius Fire Contract. The board did pass a motion to authorize the supervisor to sign the 2026 Fayetteville Fire Protection District contract for the calendar year of 2026 in the amount of $2,183,428.74.
Fremont Meadows – Entry
The board authorized the Highway Superintendent to coordinate with the Tree Commission to remove and replace plantings at the entry to Fremont Meadows.
Dog Control - 2026 SPCA Contracts
The board authorized the Supervisor to sign the agreement with CNYSPCA for Dog Control Services and animal cruelty for a period of 3 years effective January 1, 2026, and expiring December 31, 2028.
Handbook - New Policies
The board approve the Longevity Pay and Bridge to Medicare Policies effective January 1, 2026.

The board tabled this item for a future meeting.
Board of Ethics – Members
The board accepted the resignation of Kristine Kinsella-Zettler from the Board of Ethics - effective October 30, 2025, and appointed Mary L. Karpinski to the Board of Ethics - effective October 31, 2025.
Town Facility Updates - RFP Approval
The board authorized the publication of the RFP for the Implementation of a Town Facility and Public Engagement Project.
Budget Workshop
The board set a date for a Budget Workshop on October 29, 2025, at 5:30 PM.
Other Business
Councilor Italiano announced that the Recreation Department will be holding Wicked Woods at Green Lakes State Park on October 18, 2025. She also announced that Fayetteville Fire Department would be holding an open house on October 11, 2025, from 10AM-2PM.
